Technographic Displays’
designers have been innovating LED displays since 1993, with the design
and installation of the first tri-colour PAXIS display at the Port of
Dover. They were responsible for Europe’s first LED outdoor video
display in 1994, and since then, they have continued to lead the field
in the application of LED technology.
Technographic Displays aims to provide the very best LED graphics
displays, and has developed an impressive range of outdoor LED display
modules, ranging from large-pixel single-colour displays to full-colour
high-resolution models. Superb performance is provided in a lightweight
modular form suitable for the most extreme environments. To date, seven
full-colour PAXIS displays have been installed at the Port of Dover and
have proved themselves to be supremely reliable and highly effective for
both passenger information and advertising.
A range of powerful display controllers designed and supported in-house
is available to complement the excellent range of display modules. The
controllers, which run under a state-of-the-art real-time operating
system, support static and moving text and animated graphics.
Applications range from simple electronic information boards to
scoreboards and giant full-colour advertising displays.
ACTIV-Banner enables sports venue owners and retailers to make a quantum
leap forward in the way they promote, inform and entertain. Using ACTIV,
static or moving media advertising is transformed into an incredible
visual spectacle that cannot fail to get noticed. Stunning linear LED
displays of unlimited length can be created with ACTIV, using up to 4
simultaneously displayed sources and any of 30 built-in transition
effects. For easy content creation, ACTIV supports standard graphic file
formats such as .bmp and .avi and even comes complete with built-in
scoreboard. Sequences of images, text, scores and data from external
network sources can be easily created and displayed using ACTIV's
drag-and-drop Windows™ based control software. ACTIV's fully
customisable software is so easy to use that even novice users can be
running complex display sequences within minutes.
Technographic Displays has developed a number of single-colour text
displays, including Meridian, Energy, Metro and Mondial, with pixel
pitches of 8.3mm, 9.94mm, 12mm and 25mm respectively.
Technographic Displays can supply display products to system
integrators, or we can provide turnkey solutions to end-users. In either
case, we provide total commitment to backup and support.
WebScore and TechScore are sports
scoring packages developed by Technographic Displays specifically for
scoreboard and media play-out functions on stadium giant video displays.
TechEvent builds on these products to provide multi-format event
presentation systems.
Finally, the Technographic team has many years of experience in
designing a wide range of electronic products, including PC video and
graphics sub-systems, communications and security systems and teletext
and timecode components. The company operates a cost-effective hardware
and software design consultancy service, enabling third parties to
benefit from its wide-ranging design experience. |
