Technographic Displays has launched
TechEvent - a brand new video and graphics control system aimed at live
events generally and athletics presentations in particular. We have been providing
ACTIV-Banner operational services and equipment to Creative Technology
for use at UK Athletics events run by Fast
Track since February 2003. ACTIV-Banner specifically linked to Unitek
LED displays and, with LED panel technology moving on, the final ACTIV-Banner
athletics scoreboard appeared
at The Norwich Union International meeting in Glasgow on 27th January
2007.
The EAIC scoreboard heralds a new era of
flexible-format event presentation display systems.

Arthur Jackson of Technographic Displays
operated the screens under the direction of Fast Track over the course
of all three days of the European Athletics Indoor Championships.

Athletics Indoor Championships, March 2007.

TechEvent was configured for multiple
formats. The format above enabled live action to be displayed against
live data.

Action replay with event results directly
from the event database.

A two-video-window mode allowed
simultaneous coverage of two live events or live shots of the infield
presenters to be shown without any action being missed.

A number of "Invincibull" animations
could be played out either
full-screen (as shown above), within the scoreboard area, or else
in one of the video windows.
