For indoor applications, Technographic Displays can supply and install state-of -the-art large-screen LCD (liquid crystal) displays.

The displays supplied to the Port of Dover in 2005 for installation in the Travel Centre and Passenger Services Buildings are 40 inch models housed in a robust steel case with an additional front polycarbonate screen for robustness in a public area.

The displays can be ceiling-mounted (as shown here), wall mounted or floor-mounted.

Compared with CRT and plasma displays, LCD technology offers a superior lifetime particularly when images change very little. Backlights are rated at 50,000 hours and can in any case be replaced at the end of their life.

Standard Technographic LED display modules have been used for a number of text-based displays such as the 'Next Sailings' signs at the Port of Dover weighbridges.
